The deadline for regular registration for the April 10, 2010, ACT is Friday, March 5, 2010.  Late registration is March 6-19, 2010. The fee for taking the ACT is $32.  Late registration is $53.  A limited number of free exams are available for those who qualify in the counselor's office.

Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship - Deadline:3/31/2010; One time $2500 award.  Requires essay and parents tax info.

Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship - $1500 Scholarship (up to 62 awarded).  The application is available at the following link:   http://www.arkansased.org/students/pdf/byrd_app_111009.pdf   and the guidelines are available at the following link:  http://www.arkansased.org/students/pdf/byrd_guidelines_111009.pdf   as well as in the counselor’s office.  Deadline for the scholarship is February 12, 2010.

Arkansas Public Health Association - $500 scholarship for any student entering the Public Health field.  Deadline is March 16, 2010.  See Mr. Rose for application.

 

Arkwest Communications Scholarship -  Up to 4 year tuition.  May only be used at a four year public university in Arkansas- no private or out-of-state colleges.  Application available in the counselor’s office.  Deadline is April 16.
